Norwich were deflated and Wolves snatched victory in the 81st minute with Jimenez on hand to convert a rebound after keeper Tim Krul saved Matt Doherty's point-blank effort. Defeat left Norwich second from bottom, six points below the safety zone while Wolves climbed to sixth, two points off fourth-placed Chelsea who face Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Syria will meet with Japan in the group. The football is not the most important thing in Syria. The youth national team are very far to elite and I am certainly sure they will eliminate after the group stage.
It was good and the whole place got a little tidy up as well. And some. Around the same time, the dugouts at Carrow Road were cleared of all strappings, water bottles and debris after eventual Championship winners Norwich City were left obliterated by a 3-0 scorching. Leeds and Bielsa left the Canaries' home as if the footballing tornado that had engulfed it for 90 minutes had passed without trace.
Hearts have rejected a formal takeover approach from the son of former Liverpool owner George Gillett, chairman Ann Budge has confirmed. Foster Gillett, who was on the board at Anfield, contacted Budge through a third party last week with a view to buying a controlling interest. The Colorado businessman was linked with Derby County late last year. My plan has always been to hand the club over to supporters and nothing has changed," Budge told BBC Scotland.
I know I'm letting them down every week I don't pick them but that's what I'm paid to do, I'm paid to get results and I'm paid to get the team to perform. The three points against Brighton means United sit fifth in the table and Stoney is confident her team can achieve their goals in their first Women's Super League season.

They were 2-1 ahead at the time after striking twice in two minutes in the first half with Jadon Sancho slotting home in the 16th minute and Thorgan Hazard grabbing their second soon after. Hertha, with new coach Klinsmann on the bench, pulled one back through Vladimir Darida's deflected effort in the 34th minute but despite a frantic final 20 minutes they could not find an equaliser.

Rome, which has not been affected so far, is due to hold three group stage matches and one quarter-final at the Euro 2020 tournament in June and July. We are at the waiting stage. We are monitoring country by country, and football must follow the orders of the individual countries," Italian Michele Uva, a member of the UEFA executive committee, told state broadcaster Rai.
In it he discusses football's fight against racism, how he has kept up with his England players during lockdown and how football can respond after the coronavirus pandemic. Speaking this week following the death of George Floyd and the subsequent anti-racism protests across the world, Manchester City forward Sterling said progress in the fight against racism will only come in football when more black players become managers.
Bordeaux's Ligue 1 game with Nimes was suspended for 25 minutes after dozens of fans gathered by the pitch in protest against the club's ownership. The Bordeaux supporters, who left the stands after 11 minutes, had been calling for the resignation of club president Frederic Longuepee. After play resumed the home side went on to win 6-0 with ex-Sunderland striker Josh Maja scoring a hat-trick. Nicolas de Preville and a double from Otavio completed the win.
Lionel Messi looks set to win his seventh La Liga golden boot after scoring twice in Barcelona's win over Alaves on the final day. The Barca captain is on 25 goals, four clear of Karim Benzena, whose Real Madrid face Leganes at 20:00 BST. The game was not of importance as Real clinched the La Liga title on Thursday. Messi rounded the keeper to make it 2-0 and swept in a fifth - with teenager Ansu Fati, Luis Suarez and Nelson Semedo scoring the other goals.
Girona are coming in this game without being able to win in their last 5 games but the good news is that they have only lost one game of their last 10 played and at home 2 wins and 3 draws in the last 5 games in this venue. Numancia for its part living a bad time losing consecutively 6 games as visitors. But I also think that a bigger victory for the hosts is absolutely not out of the question. Numancia is not necessarily poorer in terms of quality. After all, they could also win the first leg with 2-0. But Girona may prove too strong for the Numancia here.
Last weekend's facile 5-2 home win against Mallorca kept Barca in a share of the lead at the top of the table with arch rivals Real Madrid and Valverde's side will be extremely keen to keep their winning run in tact this Saturday, ahead of next week's all important El Clasico showdown with Los Blancos at Camp Nou.
The Austrian league went to the play-off round to select teams for the European Cup. With only 7 points behind the top team, Rapid Wien still has the opportunity to compete for the championship. Therefore, the Rapid Wien players are showing extremely serious for this series.
Did Sterling want to injure him? I don't think so. I don't believe that. Respect to Sterling. But the intention doesn't count and what counts is the action. It's a red card. Son Heung-min put Spurs 1-0 up at St Mary's on 25 January before substitute Sofiane Boufal's late equaliser forced a replay at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The winners of Wednesday's replay will host Norwich City in the fifth round.
Over 2.5 goals have been scored in 58% of Banet’s home games and in 67% of Fylde’s away games so far this season, while five of Barnet’s wins have been obtained with a one-goal margin which is a majority of the hosts league victories. Barnet won’t be expecting as easy of a game as they did when they faced Fylde in October as it is the visitors who head into Saturday’s clash as the form favourites with four wins from their last five matches.
When we play the game we'll be able to see it," the Canada international told BBC Sport. We will see during the game. We've only played against each other. Essentially 11 v 11 games in training. Saarbrucken's website has a second-by-second countdown to the German Cup semi-finalSaarbrucken's run to the cup semis has been littered with extraordinary moments - two last-minute winners in 3-2 victories, both set up by Froese, followed by two penalty shootout wins.
Until the appeal finishes I think Manchester City has the benefit of the doubt. Mourinho's Spurs side climbed up to fifth in the Premier League with a last-minute 3-2 win at Aston Villa on Sunday. It is not clear whether the team that finishes fifth this season will get a Champions League place if Manchester City's ban is upheld for 2020/21.
Forest haven’t lost a league game since last year … okay, okay, that’s only a month. But still. West Brom have taken four points from their last seven league games; Forest, by contrast, have taken 19. That’s loads more. You can always rely on the Championship. IN OTHER NEWS We’re happy to assume that both Ashley Young and Antonio Conte have very strong opinions on Marmite.

Traore has played through the pain barrier before but I know from experience it is a horrible injury until you have an operation to sort it out - it happened to me three times in one season before I went for surgery. But, whether or not Traore decides to carry on for now, I still think Nuno Espirito Santo's side will have enough quality to break Everton down. The Toffees have improved a lot under Carlo Ancelotti, but Wolves are much further down the road than they are in terms of building a team that can crack the top six.

TUESDAY’S BIG STORIES UEFA meet to ask…what happens now? From this meeting, the dominoes may well fall. The various parts, members, stakeholders and whatever else of UEFA will be calling in to one massive Google Hangout today in order to discuss what the merry hell happens now. The most likely conclusion from all of this is that Euro 2020 is pushed back…to when, we are not sure – maybe December, maybe January, maybe next summer – but it’s obvious that the pan-continental tournament can’t happen as scheduled.
